sorry, n00b question, but i keep getting this error in grdtray3.dll, everytime i open games and stuff 'exception while quitting module' is there any way around it?
how about using systray2.dll instead? i heard the grdtray3 has problems on some XP systems. now that systray2 also has icon recoloring (check changes.txt) it became my fav tray module.
yeah, I get exception quiting mode errors all the time with grdtray3 but systray2 doesn't work right for me either. big probs getting it to accept a bg image and size/ position correctly.
- Fixed [systray2, litestep / Message / 2001-11-26]

System tray modules will have to be updated before being used with this
build.
The above is taken from changes.txt, it means only systray2 works with builds more recent than 2001-11-26. It is stated again and again on IRC, in forums, etc. but apparently still hasn't reached all themers. There is a fixed version of grdtray3 floating around somewhere, but it was never officially released. Oh and don't use any of the "trayfixes" with builds more recent than that it'll probably only make matters worse.
argh, so that means i have to learn scripting or use another theme? - Dammit, i realy liked nonstep :(
ilmcuts: is there a chance to include the functionality of systray2kad (executing !bangs when an icon gets added/removed) into the regular systray2? i think i read that it has been added in changes.txt, but it actually does not work.
it has *SystrayOnAdd and *SystrayOnDel but Vendicator forgot to document it. All systray2kad changes were added to the core systray2.
my bad. just tried it and it works :) thank you.
