similar to the auto-hide feature of the taskbar in windows, is there anyway to do that with the themes of LS? im just learning about it, so i dont know much.
im currently using the excalibur II theme.

You would need to work with some HotSpots...but yes...it can be done

i guess with a combo of *ckHotspot and maybe LsTransparent or some bangs it could happen.

also... i cant figure out how to change the clock from 24 to 12 hour. i know i have to change the HH:MM to II:MM or something like that, but where do i do this at?

Hotspots explained

and you would change that in a file that sets up label. i don't have simplicity installed and have no intentions of loading that theme. Your step.rc is a good place to start but you should have already looked there because I am SURE you read the docs already. If its not there Im sure you have already checked all included files since that would be the next logical place. After that yer on your own because you can't read.
