If you use LSslider together with winamp, and this slider jumps back to zero when you have changed the volume, try using waveOut instead of directSound in winamp. This normally fixes it. And if you dont know how to do that, it's:
Options-> preferences-> Plug-ins-> Output... select waveOut
yay, I was just about to ask about this
How about a fix for LsSlider locking up my system? ;) Even if I use a bare theme with nothing loaded except LsSlider, it causes litestep to start chewing up memory in the 100-250MB range and using 97% of my CPU...
hi i'm usin lsslider on 0.24.7 and every time it loads it freezes ls and leaves me with no shell??? what to do??
p.s. i'm new to litestep!!
hello
i would like to use lsslider 1.71 because this is the only slider dll that allow winamp volume control.
wonderful dll but have found 2 bugs snif...
1. a bug with the winamp volume control.
when i move the slider, winamp volume increase or decrease correctely. but the slider go back to is initial position after i realise my mouse boutton. initial position who is the same as wave channel of sndrec32.exe ... and when i move the slider of wave channel of sndrec32.exe it move the winamp sloder of lsslider....
2. if you unplug your soundcard, lsslider crash lifestep at the theme loading... (tested with a comment on the netloadmodule lsslider => do not crash anymore)
the waveOut trick don't work for me...
windows 2000, litestep 0.24.7 rc2. winamp2
bye. have a nice day.
I keep getting a weird glitch.
I have 3 sliders (4 if you count winamp song position)
The first is my system main volume (channel 0)
The second is my system wave volume (channel 1)
the third is my winamp volume (channel W)
The winamp volume slider does not seem to know which channel to latch onto.
When I adjust the winamp volume (through commands, or winamp itself), the slider properly moves with the volume level, however when I adjust the wave volume (through commands or the system), The volume slider moves along with my main volume slider.
