hello,
i was wondering how to make litestep behave like a normal windows 2000 desktop. it would be great to have some functionality like create directory and others. is it possible to do that?

best regards

Everything is possible under litestep (since half a year)...
What you want to do is create folders on your desktop ?
It's a bit tricky, but it could be done (not easily) and it works

Why on earth would someone want to replace the explorer shell just to put it back? If you want something that looks and acts like explorer...RUN EXPLORER!

Or you could pull the halfarsed rout and run litestep ontop of explorer. *shivers*

Why? Because it's functional. It's like drawing a file on a piece of paper, it gives an added dimension. If you have to do all your folder work from explorer, rearanging items can be a b*tch, but when doing this on your desktop, you can litteraly see what you're doing, and look at your 'Way Cool TM' background at the sametime :D

so boot into explorer and do your work then come back
