Ok, I'm all set up, love it. I have a very minimalistic setup, nothing on the desktop, and all my controls are hidden on the top and bottom of the screen.

So, i use this workstation for work, I normally have applications in full screen, and I run two monitors. For work we use Skype for chatting, but when someone sends me a message, I don't get notified any more.

In Explorer, I would be notified via a blinking task in the task bar. Is there a way to hook these types of notifications, so I could have it pop up for a brief second. Maybe even have it so I could click the notification and bring that window into focus? Think Google Talk when someone comes online. Or maybe less fancy.

I'm not afraid to get my hands dirty if someone has a pretty grissly solution. =)

only way I know of doing it is with enabling blinking in xtaskbar. hrmmm...

Not using that module presently, but I'll give it a shot.
