I'm using the Go!3 theme, but all of the themes by Ashtefere have this same issue for me: no desktop icons.
How can I show my desktop icons? Also, with other themes that do show them, I still can't draw a selection box around them. Is there a way to enable that and/or auto-arranging of icons...?
Thanks,
Walt

1) It is probably a setting you need to enable within the theme. Try checking the Theme Popup to see if you can turn it on.
2) I am pretty sure that none of the desktop icon modules support this. I know that Clickonic was the first to support dragging of icons around but I don't think it has the box selection feature. You can use Shift and Ctrl to select icons though.
What's the theme popup...?
It is either Shift + Left Click or Ctrl + Left Click on the desktop. I can't remember which it is as I never use the stupid thing anymore. It is covered in the OTS2 specification documentation.
That doesn't do anything on my system.
It is possible that he doesn't have that as an option on his published themes. *Goes to install theme* Wait a minute. You are talking about this theme
here that has no desktop icons right?
Yes, that's the one. Why...? I'm sorry, I'm *really* new to LiteStep -- so if the theme doesn't have icons there's no way to get them...?
Open the theme.rc file and add in the following:
*NetloadModule clickonic-1.1.2
*Clickonic DeskIcons
Recycle Litestep. Find the help file in \litestep\modules\etc so you can customize your settings.
Thank you! The icon manager kind of sucks, but that's still a big help!
