I am brand new to the whole litestep thing. well i just installed the installer and the update before rebooting..i rebooted and now tried to install a theme but it doesn't seem to be working. I have no idea how to fix it.

i was trying to install the "black glass" and then the "GO" themes

errrrrrrr...you can't decompress a non-compressed file. Put the Reflection_invi folder into your c:\LiteStep\themes folder and recycle LS. Then select the theme from your themes popup folder.

The installer would accept the .zip file you had already decompressed to make the install even easier.

just a question to add to this...when i loaded the theme it said it had to download some modules...it downloaded all but two so i just skipped the two. i haven't run into any problems so far using the theme but should i fret about it at all?

that and if i want to switch themes can i just load another one whilst using another or should i go back to the default page?

Without those modules you lost some functionality. There are some settings you need to change/update in your step.rc to get them to download. Check the sticky in this section for it.

You can freely go from one theme to another. You do not need to go back to the default theme ever again if you don't want to.
