Becoming less and less of a newbie, but 9 out of 10 themes I try won't load completely because there is a module that only runs in 2000 or XP. Is there a list anywhere that shows the compatibility of known modules, or is trial and error the only way... Yes, I check the readme's first...

I'm pretty sure the only modules that won't work with me/98/95 are the ones that include transparency (grdTransparent lstransparent apptrans). Could be more.

There are a couple others that don't that were written long ago. If I remember right they spelled it out all over the place though. The transparency modules are the only ones that don't and themers should write themes to not include those modules. Blame the themer...not the theme. :)

yeah, the transparent ones I noticed pretty early, as well as a couple with a draggable control box of some kind. I'd get a box but nothing in it. Thanks, I appreciate the feedback.
