I've been using litestep for a little longer than a year now, and just recently went into pop3 with my gmail account so I thought I could use lsmail to keep track whenever I get new emails.

So I have it all setup right accordingly to the doc pages. I even test mailed my gmail account to see if it worked. And it did, but shortly after I start getting this error boxes popping out every 10 seconds. saying:

"Server Recived Timeout" With only a OK button to press on, and this crashes my litestep completely.
So i went into the config files and put a code breaker (;) before my *lsmailserver 0 0 GMail pop.gmail.com:995 email@gmail.com password, (replaced my real username and password for obviet reasons) and after that the errors where gone.

Some things I've tried is setting the update interval to 5min but the errors still come before that.

Anyone else experinceing these problems and would like to share?
Or does someone have a solution for my problem?

dont check every 10 sec, the server banned you. 10 min is reasonable. Also try acidmail instead of lsmail.
