I'm running objectdock with litestep but everytime I click on the background objectdock disappears. Everytime I right click to bring up the popup menu or click on a taskbar/systray icon it shows up again. This gets irritating when I'm juggling around windows and trying to use the dock at the same time.

Does anyone know how to get the object dock to always stay on top, and I've already tried the "always stay on top" option for the dock including disabling the option to make it hide and know it works because when I'm running the explorer shell I have no problems.

Sounds like DesktopX might be running. Try disabling that bad boy. If all else fails we know for sure that RocketDock works without issue.

I tried RocketDock, its a little weird compared to objectdock but it solves the problem. Thanks!

Alright RocketDock was just too frustrating for me after a while (it doesn't always show on top of shit I want it to and shows on top of other shit I don't want it to - basically 'always on top' works opposite of objectdocks and frequently breaks).

I solved my problem once and for all (hopefully) by disabling jdesk and using the standard vanilla desktop2-2.0 module in its place.
