Some problems with kclock Thread last updated on 2008-07-10 13:56:42

I'm a newbie to litestep - and I downloaded the kclock module because I wanted a clock on my desktop - but every time I touch the code - even with just coordinates it disappears. I've tried working step by step and all at once - but without fail the clock up and leaves every time I touch the code.

A) what are the coordinates for the bottom right corner?
B) can I simply move the clock and not make any other changes?
C) Am I even making the right changes in the right spot with the right code - the the theme.rc following the suggestions made in the read me file?

help if you can somehow if I figure out how to move this thing i think it will make it a whole lot easier.

A) The coordinates of the lower right corner is whatever your resolution is. So if you have a 1024x768 monitor it is X=1024 Y=768.

B) Of course

C) I don't know. What settings are you changing?

I kind of figured it out - basically I started with simply moving it - it turns out - for some reason - that the bottom right corner is (x = -50) (y = -25) then I affected the color - does it have to be over a certain size for the gradient to work?

I'm just sticking to color for now everything else doesn't really matter.

Thanks by the way - I was going to post that I did it last night but I was too tired.
