no matter which theme i use, its quite impossible to make any changes, i cant open the .rc-files. whenever i try it says: acces denied. yes im logged in as an admin.

Have you tried opening the .rc files with Notepad or have you just tried randomly double clicking on them?

that actually works, but for example in the popsicle-theme, there are several options, but no matter what i click, it doesnt have any effect. like trying to close a window. i can click as often as i like on the x in the right corner, it doesnt do anything. its quite hard to describe though my english isnt very good.

Start>Run

Type notepad

File>Open

Open the file

report all errors back to here.

LS doesn't control window controls so you will need to go elsewhere for that.

A global hook loaded by a broken module could cause that behavior, but I doubt that equates to "no matter which theme". Of course, if that is the case, then a reboot should fix it, as long as you load the default theme.

If the problem persists, define what theme(s) you are having trouble with, what version of LS, and what Windows version.
