simplicity problem Thread last updated on 2003-04-11 14:35:54

I apologize for my first post being what is most likely a n00bish question, but, here goes:

i've been toodling around with litestep since early feb, with no problems to speak of, until yesterday. I was looking earlier that day at rainmeter, minder and lendar, debating their download and use. I never installed them. Later that day, my computer locked up under totally odd circumstances, and upon a reboot, simplicity would not load properly. I'd get a popup entitled Rainmeter says "There are no configurations available in folder "c:\litestep\themes\simplicity\modules\"

So, as you can probably surmise, I want to know what I can do to fix this, or if someone can provide me with a link to simplicity's download. That way, I can just delete the old folder, and replace it.

I can't seem to find a theme that I like as much as simplicity... I appreciate any help you may choose to offer.

you just need to go into whatever file you edited when you played with rainmeter and delete the loadmodule line. Once you get that deleted the message won't come up anymore.

so, should i just be killing everything that says rainmeter in all my .rc files for that theme?

Rainmeter has two items that go into a step. A LoadModule and a RainmeterIniFile line to define where to find settings.
