NetLoadModule problem :S Thread last updated on 2008-08-06 08:10:14

So I just re-installed my Litestep yesterday and updated.
Now I am having a problem.

I am trying to install a theme called "Sandwich"
http://splizzle.deviantart.com/art/Sandwich-LiteStep-Theme-71761881
wich I used before but when I try to download modules
NetLoadModule just freezes and crashes my Litestep...
I don't get any errors or nothing, just freezes.

Since I am no expert with Litestep I don't have a clue on
what to do.
So anyone here who could give me some advice?

i have also been having problems with NLM freezing up on me lately. It's not just the themes i've made though... its all themes. its to the point where i have to manually d/l modules and install them before loading themes. really wish i knew what the deal was.

Maybe one of the sites that is used by NLM is down and it is hanging while looking for it? I haven't installed any new themes lately...but that would just be my guess.

And which one of you two took my suggestion as to what was wrong to attempt to fix it on your machine?

*sigh* In your step.rc there are multiple NLM Sites defined. Disable them one at a time and find out which one is broken. My guess is going to be the first one...but we shall see.

I shall have to try that.

yeah, "http://www.loose-screws.com/download.php?netloadmodule=" seems to be busted.

my step.rc now says:

*NetLoadModuleSite "http://modules.shellfront.org/"
*NetLoadModuleSite "http://www.modules.nbi-studio.com/"
*NetLoadModuleSite "http://www.ls-universe.info/download/modules/"
