I've used bbClean, an offset of blackbox for a pretty long time. Then switched over to LiteStep. ITS CUTE ITS COOL I REFUSE TO USE ANYTHING ELSE... >_> Then I tried running Counter-Strike: Source.

Half the time it loads and I can play without issue, the other half the time steam, the loader of most hl2 games.. Starts to load it, then it just fails and I'm left on my desktop.

Anyone else having issues running steam or other full-screen games? :S

I just ran a steam search and my problem is indeed different from theirs and flickering and what not.

My CS:S just doesn't load. I see the hour glass for a half second, then it goes away along with the very small loading box in the middle of my screen. :S

and when you set explorer back as your shell, the problem goes away?

i have cs:s non source and it runs fine
