So far, the only LiteStep I've managed to download is the indie build from ShellFront. Any attempt at downloading the actual installer (or in following the them readme files to verify OTS compatability) result in the message "Could not locate remote server". These are the links tried:
http://ls-ots.cjb.net
http://ohussain.cjb.net/
http://www.beyondconvention.net/ohussain/installer.htm
So, I just have a raw indie. Now, I'm smart enough to figure it out on my own, but it cannot be expected that everbody out there interested is.... though, it's a nice deterent for those not actually serious it does cramp the spread of LiteStep as a viable alternative.
Does anyone have the latest installer and/or the OTS compatabillity 'checklist' for those of us that only have access to the indie, and could they post it up somewhere or find out why the above links are not working? Though doubtfully informative or useful for myself, I've noted many messages from those (not to be harsh) are new beginners. Do we really want to discourage them?
On a note, I've been attempting the above links personally for 11 days now without any success.
