I can not use in the same time Dream Render and Litestep. Does not allow the videocard to render any "dream". Could be solved?

you could contact the DreamRender developers and ask them to add support for running under LiteStep.

THis is what dreamrender has replied to me:

Some Win32 shell applications will have issues like Geoshell and litestep.
The only one that has been tested and working with no issues is Windowblinds from Stardock.

Litesteps and Geoshell just do not have the staff to do full testing with other application such as dreamrender.

Big difference between LS/GeoShell and Windowblinds. Windowblinds just covers the window widgets...LS/GeoShell replace the rest of the interface.

I know, but that was the answer. So which one will asume the support for this issue? LS or DR? I think LS because I had some other problems regarding videocard and LS during some games. I can use Enlightenment under Linux to obtain same results but I've spent a lot of money on apps which runs under Windows. I already heave 2 computers at home so I'd like to have the same comfort for both. Just tell me where do I must search or work inside LS scripts to obtain this compatibility.

It is a DR issue. They are attempting to use some part of the explorer shell and it isn't there. The only fix that you can have is to create a separate user account for DR and use it there until they fix their dependency. The DR devs don't need the LS devs to be around to fix their code, they just need to install LS on a machine and test away until it works.

I attempted to just go to their website and it won't even load. However, just by looking at their description on Google I can see part of the problem. "From simple image effects to dynamic 3D rendering right on your desktop!" Well guess what...I will bet they are trying to talk to the explorer desktop instead of drawing their own window to be "the desktop."

I've done it: don't need DR. I use BSPlayer as a wallpaper, put it on repeat. works;)it use a litle bit more of memory and CPU but it's nice...
