some of my programs (skype etc) is missing...they aren't in program shortcut...I can't find them by using quicklaunch...I have to open 'my computer' and get into 'desktop' to find programs shortcut, in my 'unused desktop items'...any suggestions? sorry to bother all you guys...

Are you using an OTS1 theme by chance? Before switching to LiteStep did Skype etc appear in your Start Menu?

hmmm...maybe :) I'm using simple minimal theme and yes, Skype did appear before...

Well...if the theme is OTS1 it is possible that the popup configured in it doesn't specify both Start Menu folders used in NT kernels. If the theme is OTS2 and your popup.rc hasn't been touched you should be fine.
