I have been trying for hours to get this to work- went throch all my *.rc files and change syntax and location. I am a noob who is clearly in over my head. Please help- it's no fun having no autoplay for my DVDs. Thanks in advance.

add to your $PersonalDir$personal.rc file and you will be all set.
