Okay, I'm looking at the installers found at http://www.lsdev.org/doku.php?id=lsdev:downloads.

Is there a comparison somewhere to distinguish differences between each installer?

Omar's LiteStep Installer :: Most commonly used installer today.
LOSI :: The installer set to replace Omar's installer.

Dist.ru :: Russian installer.

Okay, so... other than comparing the descriptions, is there anything else? Like...

something along those lines would be beneficial, I'd think?

nope... The main difference between them is that LOSI is going to use OTS3 and the other two use OTS2. LOSI and DIST.RU are under current development while Omar's installer had development stop the day it was released.
