I can't change wallpapers like I used to do. When I browse to my image and select it, I can't press apply and when I press OK, nothing happens.
Why?

I dont know in which way you're trying to set it, but go to display in control panel and you can change it there...

Unless somehow the theme that you're using is setting the wallpaper...

The image must be a BMP to set it depending on the OS. Best bet is to open the image in IE and use the Set as Background option. Should fix you right up.

I set one of my Pics as a wallpaper and when I change a theme now the wallpaper I set stays. Ok this might me stupid but... how do I set it that the Theme related wallpaper shows after the change!? Thx

There is a theme.ini file that controls it.

ah...ok found it. It wasn't "installed" in the theme folder by the theme switcher, so I manually copied it. ahm... There is no wallpaper image included in the theme AND the readme doesn't say where I can get that image. So...am i mistaken or is it normal that the wallpaper from the last theme stays with the new one in this case?!?!

Themes do not always include wallpapers...in fact...they rarely do. If they do normally they are not configured to switch to them automatically. You can configure it via the theme.ini as I stated...otherwise it will not change your wallpaper.
