im using the default theme and everything is pretty bland. i did a little searching and saw the lsxcommand modules, along with many other ones. they all look very interesting, but how do i enable them? all there is in most of them are text files. i got rainlendar to work, but thats about it.
help pls!
Each module download contains documentation on how to use it.
For general litestep configuration, read the "release_notes.txt" in your litestep folder. If you have any specific questions, please feel free to ask.
hey i also just started a few days ago
1. copy the .dll in your module folder
2. write *NetLoadModule NameOfTheModule.dll in your theme.rc file
write include "$YourConfigForThisModule.rc" in your theme.rc file
3. create YourConfigForThisModule.rc in your config folder
write your settings for the module in the .rc file
i couldnt figure out the isxcommand documentation :( its enable but i dont see any box on my desktop. i could figure out the commands probably if i knew where the module was.
i have no release_notes.txt
i found Isxcommand.dll
i dont know which theme.rc file to use? i did a ran a file search, and found only 2 theme.rc, and they were for themes i don't use. i just want to modify the main one. gahh help please!
use the "About" function to see if the module you added is included in the list of modules.
@leafy2: if you don't have release_notes.txt then you need to upgrade. Grab the "Litestep-Updater" from the downloads section.
ahh thanks everyone, this helped a lot =)
1 more question
i found the !taskbartoggle command, is there another command for the litestep/gripper icon on the left side? i want to just show the systray and time.
find out what module is being used for the icon you want, and read the docs for that module. Flick to the !bangs section and look for hide/toggle.
