Hi,

I am using procarst theme. I would like to use about 3 virtual desktop spaces. I have heard that wharf can do this, and I was enjoying it very much when I was running the austerity theme. Procrast does not use a task bar, so there is no place for the virtual desktop icons to exist. I would like to simply map the desktops to ctrl+1, ctrl+2, ctrl+3.

Can someone tell me if wharf always loads with litestep, and if so, how do I map these hotkeys to apply to the desktops? If not, how do I make it load (not sure which .rc file to edit, or what to enter into it).

Thanks,

~fogus

You're mixing up your modules. You want rabidvwm. Then, you can just hotkey the !bangs to change desktops like you want.

or bangvwm does it too.

Ok, so how do I load rabidvwm?
How do you enter !bang commands normally? Is there a hokey which brings up a command prompt like thing for me to enter a command?
How do I hotkey a !bang?
Where do I put the file and where do I write the launch info for it?

What's up with "OOh shite...this damn thing is Bustugated..."? Its been there a while now. I'd really like to read the manual. Perhaps there is a section on installing modules.

http://lsdocs.shellfront.org

They are really really old and dont apply to a lot of things, like how to load modules in current themes. For that you need to read the OTS2 specification. The docs are also installed locally on your computer for you to read offline.
