I'm new to LS. Sorry.

I'm just trying to switch themes, I literally just downloaded LS tonight, so I'm lost. Anyway, I downloaded a new theme, extracted it to the themes folder, then right clicked and went to themes and clicked its name and now I can't see my task bar to do anything, even switch back to Austerity to try and change this. I'm pretty sure I installed it wrong.

This is the theme in question: http://www.litestep.net/index.php?section=2&action=details&id=1267

There's a file in your LiteStep dir called "Switch to default theme.lnk". Run it :)

As for the theme not running, have you installed xPaintclass?

I can't get to that, I don't have icons or anything. I have a blank desktop, and AIM automatically runs when I reboot. So IM'd myself a link to the LS site to post this. I can't get to anything. :/

Edit: Actually, I used the Task Manager to run what you said and it's fine now. Perfect! Thank you so much. Also I did install xPaintclass. I think. I downloaded and extracted it anyway. I'm going to try installing the theme following the readme file. Thank you again so much. My computer was pretty useless that way. :D

Additionally, I cannot get any theme to install properly.. Either certain modules don't install or it just fails.. and the wallpapers never change. I don't know if I have the wrong "build" (not sure what that is) or what. Could anyone just help me switch themes once? o_o

Well, have you upgraded your LS build to the latest one? If you're using the core files that came with the installer, you're bound to run into problems as those are several years old.
