so I went to uninstall litestep and now my regular windows hasn't come back up? what's the deal? how do i fix this?

Windows is sulking because it doesn't think you love it anymore? ;)

Did you set your shell back to explorer (using the shortcuts provided by the LS installer) before you uninstalled LS?
