Hi.

I am absolutely positive that I had the last post in this forum thread

I remember being quite chuffed about sneaking the post in before the thread was locked.

The thread was open, I posted a reply, then it was locked.
At first I thought "Whoah, thats gotta be freaky good timing"
Then I fantasized "Maybe the forum has a feature where an admin can perform a 'Lock after a post from *user*' to hear from all sides on a sensitive topic"

Either is fine with me.

The problem is, I do not have the last post anymore.
And I remember having the last post for quite some time (I remember checking frequently to see if my browser or brain was tripping out)

How did this happen?
Am I losing my mind?
Please check the logs for that thread, I am sure you have some.

Thanks :)

If you're frequently checking a locked thread for a change, then I'd say yes, you are losing your mind.

"frequently" as in 3 maybe 4 times after I posted the day it was locked.

I thought I made it clear that I felt this was some freak event.
Given the random/unpredictable nature of this forum I feel my frequency was justified.

Can't you just check the logs and give me some definitive response?

Because, tbh, I think you deleted my post :D

I don't have any privs here. I'm a regular user, just like yourself (except I'm more cynical, and you're more perky).

You still have the last post - it's not deleted, it's just hidden.

o.O

Is this a pun?

Ermmmm, no?

So you are an admin here Brian?
If so, can you kindly tell me why it is hidden please?
Thank you.

I can detect that it is hidden, but as to *why* it's hidden I can't say (as in "don't know"). Presumably someone took objection to something in the post - but then I think you'd already guessed that. ;)

Thanks Brian :)

*sigh*

Dear infamous "last-post-hider",
Can I get an answer why it was hidden?
It would be much appreciated.

Thank you.

P.S. I probably won't quit until I get an answer, this is the most "action" litestep.net has recently had, imho.
