What program(s) do you guys use to create graphics for your themes??? I'm thinking of taking the plunge in to themeing. I have a good understanding of Litestep and *.rc programming but am a total noob when it comes to image manipulation...

Most people use Adobe Photoshop (Newest Version) I think. It is a great program and has countless features for creating and minipulating images. Would definatly be something you should look into.

Gimp is the best free graphic editor.
If your just starting to use graphic editors, try alot of them, as many as you can.

PaintShop Pro is also used for image creation. However, I have only dabbled with all of the above I can say that I have only continued to use PhotoShop for more than a day. Gimp is a nice Graphics application on *nix...but it just doesn't hang in there on a Windows box. PaintShop is great for image creation and PhotoShop dominates in editing so pick your poison.

Photoshop all the way. However it's an expensive program to purchase and most of the good filters are also retail. :/
