Just a curiosity... how much time to do people spend step tweaking?
I know it has almost cost me my relationship a coupla times but... how much do others do it?

I go trough phases, but at the moment I'm spending about 2/3 hours a day lightly tinkering with it.

And yeah, my girlfriend doesn't understand the benefits of that time spent as opposed to time spent looking for a job... She hates litestep, she can barely use windows and is sometimes forced to fumble around in my theme. That and she's got the idea that it's going to make her laptop explode.

Hahah.

Pffft. We've got lithium batteries for that.

Lately, for myself, none. The tinkering I do these days is if I'm helping someone and I don't immediately know the answer. When I was more in to theming, I could easily spend the majority of a day messing around with Litestep. The last thing I was messing with wasn't actually a theme. It was a setup that works perfectly on top of explorer (I wonder what the legalities of releasing something like that would be?).

Like xcal, I don't spend any time at all on LS ATM. I have a couple of themes that I tinker with from time to time but right now I can't really summon the will to finish them.

In the last week or so my home pc has been in bits during a particularly crazy case mod, so I havent themed much to be honest.
But its coming along niceley nonetheless.

100% of free time when I have NO access to IRC
0% of free time when I HAVE it

about 30 of 40 folders in the \My Projects folder are LiteStep-related, but it's toooooo boooooooring to finish them =)

I used to spend hours on writing my themes (at work, mostly), and downloading other people's themes to check them out and provide fixes/suggestions when applicable, but I haven't done much at all recently...I doubled the height of my greybar theme a few months ago, but that was about it, only took a couple hours (and only that long because I haven't done any tweaking other than that in the past year, probably).

I'd rather not think about all the time spend ^^
