Inverting xStatsGraph 0.7 perfmon counter Thread last updated on 2007-03-16 02:32:17

Hello, I am using the perfmon string "\LogicalDisk(0/C:)\% Free Space" as a source for an xStatsGraph bar graph. This works correctly, however I do not want the "Free Space", I want the "Used Space". I tried things like %# 100 - (source)%#.

I also tried to have the main bar as a background image and that the bar graph eats away at it from the other side simulating this, but it didn't seem like the graph worked on anything but a solid backgroud (the main xstatsgraph, not the individul bar.

Help would be appreciated, thanks for reading.

Use the new 'flip' setting to invert the free space measure.

Erm, where is this flip setting? There is flip x and y but that just changes the direction the graph is drawn in, not flipping the actual value...

Are you talking about something else..?

Ah never mind I switched to xstatsclass instead of perfmon and there's a handy diskinuse function that works perfectly.

Thanks.

Well... if some of it plus the rest of it equals all of it, then all of it minus some of it equals the rest of it. IOW, 'flipy' gives you 100% - % free space = % in use. Just swap the foreground and background colors and you're there. Or use xstatsclass. =)
