Free Your Desktop -- new LS forum! Thread last updated on 2007-02-20 19:23:58

Since it seems I can't post links, I'll post a thread here instead...

I'm not sure if the LiteStep community really needs another forum, considering that there's already a few and it seems there's not enough users to go around. But since LS is after all about freedom of choice -- and since I've been thinking of setting up some kind of LS site for some time now -- I have created one anyway.

What was once my little popsicle board has been transformed into Free Your Desktop -- your friendly neighborhood LiteStep forum. I'd like to invite everyone, novice and veteran LiteSteppers alike, to stop by and say hi. For obvious reasons there's not much content yet (aside from the Theme Support section where I will continue to give support on my themes) but my hope is that at least a few will find FYD a nice place to hang around and discuss our favorite shell.

While I have no power over what direction this forum will take, I would like it to be a place that focuses on the design, functionality and aesthetics aspect of theme making, as I believe that no LS site around today touches much on those subjects (coding and configuration being much more common topics). But all types of LS-related matters are of course welcome. When I find the time, I will be posting various guides and tutorials and I encourage you to do the same if you think this looks like a promising project.

Enjoy!

Links section is working fine...

"It can only be attributable to human error."

When aliens make stupid mistakes, is that attributable to human error?

According to Stargate SG-1 99.9999% of all aliens are human. So yes :D

Wow.

So what percentage of humans are alien?

And how many of them want to plunge their hand into my chest and feed on me? Oh wait, NM, my ex already drained most of my life force, not to mention my wallet.

Well, the Ori (or however that's spelled) are creepy enough, I suppose. They're like Jerry Falwell with super powers. Ack.
