Omar's Installer 3.02
Litestep Core binaries 0.24.7
xPaintclass-1.0.dll into main LS program folder
It wouldn't hurt to get NetLoadModule 2.5, but you can hold off on that no sweat (if this reads greek so far, don't worry!).
Start getting themes--download them with abandone. There's a new installer being worked on, to help take care of some of the above. If you don't have MSVCR/MSVCRT70, 71, or 80 (IE, msvcr71.dll), get them and stick them in your system32 folder (if you're running an updated XP or Win2k with the .Net Framework 1.1 and 2.0, you aught to be fine, I think).

If you have automatic updates set to download and notify you, or just automatically notify you, that can cause lots of CPU use, and may not show up in the systray all the time. Dunno why.

Finally, read the stickies here, and check out http://www.ls-themes.org and http://www.ls-universe.info. When things mess up, check the stickies again, then start asking.
