dual monitor compatible themes Thread last updated on 2006-11-24 21:03:57

I tried to edit the ultimatum theme, because on my setup the systray is missing, but i hadn't any success.
So I was wondering if there is a list of themes working on dual monitor setups.
Glaze works for me but it would be pretty nice to have some more themes for a change.

I'm sorry if there already is a thread about this topic, but the search didn't generate anything useful. Only threads about problems with different dual setups and different themes.

Thanks in advance
Daniel

To fix the problems with Ultimatum you just need to adjust the SystrayX value to be a positive number instead of negotive. Once you do that you will be fine.

Wow, thanks. Didn't thought it would be that easy.

I just wish theme developers would understand that it is just that easy. Going forward any theme you download you want to veify that they either use positive or negative X/Y values. This will "fix" every theme.

Note:
Negatives work also but need to be in $ResolutionX-130$

And this theme supports dual monitors if your looking for a new toy.

Ok, today i got a bit into this litestep concept and "interbreeded" ultimatum's taskbar with elegance. Also made some new graphics for the popup menu and the background at the bottom of the screen.
Evereything is working with my dual monitor setup. Litestep is pretty impressive.

Thanks from germany to both of us

I thought they were named "East" and "West"? But if West is in Sweden then only East is left in Germany... and now I'm totally confused.
