Does litestep install for a single user account or all accounts? Thread last updated on 2006-11-20 19:16:48

Hi. I was thinking about installing litestep.

I was reading this information about the installation.
http://wiki.litestep.com/LiteStep:Installation

My question was, if i install litestep, will it be installed across the entire machine, or just for the user account under which i install litestep.

Also, If i mess up my installation (im probably going to try using the installer for the first time around) Will i need to completely reinstall windows? Would it thus be safer to try this on a fresh install in a seperate partition?

Sorry for the newb questions. I tried looking around for a little bit, and the search feature doesn't seem to be functioning.

Thanks for any replies.

Yes, you can install it for a single user, or for all users. IIRC, the installer presents you with that option - just pick the one you want. And no, you won't ever need to reinstall windows. At worst, you'll have to run the setshell utility (supplied with the installer) and set the default shell back to explorer.
