Wierd lock-up problem with random themes Thread last updated on 2003-04-04 07:07:51

Hello everyone

Just a little wierd quirk I have ran into with a few themes (dont remember which ones but Simplicity did it)

when I lock my xp workstation and unlock it again, Litestep seems to lock up, and i have to recycle for it to become usable again

anyone have this problem?

no big problem just annoying :)

There were a few bugreports about this, so i guess it counts as a known issue. Any chance you can narrow it down to certain themes (or possibly even certain modules)?

well, I went out for a smoke break and came back and it was fine! it seems to only do it if you quickly lock your workstation then unlock

so... I leave it locked for a while and come back and the theme locked up again. Evidently its not the duration of the locked workstation after all.

or maybe it could just be the theme!?

Actually I have strange lock-up problems. LS eventually gets out of it but it takes a short bit. All of my problems come when LS Beta 1 either when my screensaver shuts off and my mouse is in a section covered by the theme, or when I use ckvwm to change desktops.

nah its not the theme because it happens in ::Vodka Martini:: also and a few others
