First, I'm not entirely sure as to where to put this, so don't bash me please.

I've noticed on my computers that litestep uses alot of RAM and a alot more of the CPU than windows' explorer.

I don't know what to do about it, but I want the devs to be aware of this problem.

Does anyone else have this problem?

It entirely depends on the theme you're running.

try some different themes and report your mem/cpu usage

I realize that this thread is old, but interesting: I 've had this same thing occur too. Though with my experience, I just accessed the task manager, stoped LS, went to the "themeselect.rc" file and filled in whatever theme I wanted at that time and was able to fix the problem sufficiently.

That would say that the theme you were using had a bad config or a bad module loaded. Either way...switching themes really isn't the solution. You could just cancel LS and restart it and have it drop back down. If you want to truely fix it so it doesn't happen you need to go through the diagnostic steps that I believe is part of a sticky in the general thread.
