Heya, I've just pluged in my tv-out. And got some questions.
I want to be able to switch between the desktops (the one for my computer and the one for my tv) with litestep. The computer desktop should be 1280*1024px and the tv desktop should be 1024*768px. Anyone know how to fix that? And what modules I might need?
And how should my tv-out be configured? Extended desktop or perhaps cloned desktop?
And I don't want to be able to drag the mouse between the desktops. (if thats possible to disable)

I'll write a little list on how it should be. ;) Might be easier to unserstand.

I want two desktops.
Desktop1 should be my computer desktop.
Desktop2 should be used as my tv desktop.
I should be able to switch between desktop1 and desktop2 on my computer screen (not on the tv).
The tv should be locked to desktop2.
I should NOT be able to drag the mouse from one desktop to the other. If I want to move an application I should have to use the hotkeys. (1)
Desktop1 should be 1280*1024px.
Desktop2 should be 1024*768px.

(1)
*Hotkey ALT LEFT !VWMMoveApp Left ;move active window left
*Hotkey ALT RIGHT !VWMMoveApp Right ;move active window right

look at your display properties, configure the actual monitor's and resolutions in there.

Dunno about the other stuff.

Well, the resolution aint a big problem itself. :p I just said that since it might couse problems with diffrent resolution and switch desktop on the main monitor.

Hmm, ok.

So you want 2 VWM desktops, and 2 monitors.
Monitor A (computer) can switch between VWM desktop 1 and 2
Monitor B (TV) is locked on VWM desktop 2.

Correct?

I suggest you read up on the RabidVWM module. It will be your best bet.
Also you'll probably need to know something about the jDesk2 module aswell.

Good luck ;)

P.S. Sorry I can't help more, but I have only ever used 1 monitor with LS ;)
