Gif or Html desktop background Thread last updated on 2006-09-25 10:36:05

Hello,

As u know in explorer shell its possible to set an animated gif picture or an html file with animations as the desktop background, in litestep this wont work.

Does anyone know of a special way to do this or a patch that will enable it or anything?

Np, btw, if you just want to stick an image on your desktop (animated or not), check out xlabel. xFlash might interest you, too, for desktop eye candy. Also have a look at lslive-2.0.5.2-alpha. All same site as above link.
