Now, at first sight you might think I'm in the wrong part of the internet, but I believe I'm not.

I've been using LiteStep for quite a while now, and I adore it.
However, there is a slight problem.
when I try to run Photoshop CS, the tools stop working after a few minutes.
They simply stop working. I can switch tool, but I can't *do* anything with them on my picture.
Why do I think LiteStep is the problem?
Well, I run LiteStep on my home pc and my school laptop.
I'm currently borrowing the laptop from school and it was filled with a bunch of necessary school software, including Photoshop CS. It worked fine for a while. Then i installed LiteStep.
The already mentioned problems started occuring, just as they did on my stationary home pc.
I've had LiteStep installed on my stationary for a few months, but only on my laptop for about 2 weeks.
At first, when this only ocvcured on my stationary pc, I thought there was something wrong with my Photoshop build, and I didn't look into it too much.
But now, I NEED Photoshop to work as supposed, seeing as how it's an important software for my graphic design classes.
If this problem has been reported before, I'm very sorry, but I could not find it anywhere on this forum, and the search function wasn't very helpful.

If my English grammar is hard to comprehend, I am very sorry.
I am but a 16 year old Swedish boy, or man, or whatever you prefer to call me.
I truly am very sorry for this minor setback and I hope it's not an all too significant issue.

Please respond as quick as possible - my grades depend on it.

Hmmm... I've never heard of anything like this. I use Photoshop 7 though, not CS, and I've never had any problems. What LS theme are you running?

BTW, don't worry about your English, it's excellent.

On my laptop I am running pSyche. On my stationary, Dangerous Environments

I've had this problem before...however it isn't LiteStep for me. By chance did you install WindowBlinds?

Ah... Yes, yes I did. I did not take into consideration that WindowBlinds could be the issue at hand... I will look into this and see if WindowBlinds is the cause. Thank you for your trouble.

Yup, had that problem with WB, too. Had to add Photoshop to the exceptions list.

Yet another poor soul gets Stardecked.

It is such a strange bug too. PhotoShop will work for a certain area and then it just stops. Even if you are working with something and drag out of that area it breaks.

It's probably something odd about Photoshop that WB just can't handle, i.e., it doesn't act like a "normal" solitary rectangular window. It'd be nice if Stardock would post a list of apps that commonly need to be excluded somewhere on their site. Seems to me that there were some apps pre-installed in the exclusion list when I was using WB a while back, but you ought to be able to get an "automatic update" or a one-time warning ("This application may not be compatible with WindowBlinds") for known problem apps. Maybe that's too Microsoft-ish.

I know that Office used to be like that too. You also need to exclude UT2K3 and 4...*shrug* Stupid app...StyleXP is your friend.

...and UT99 as well. Most likely all Unreal titles, maybe even all Unreal-engine games. Plus some other apps of course, can't really remember. This is the main reason I dislike WB -- too many compatibility issues. If I have to exclude half of my programs, then I don't see any reason to run WB at all.
