I'm new to lifestep and installed it. I've tried out a theme without beeing connected so when it asked for download components I couldn't do so and now I don't have a desktop or shell. I can't do anything on my PC what should I do?

p.s some of the downloaded theme says access denied? what do I do to make it work?)

If you can't even get the name of the shell right, why should I help you?

Besides, this has nothing to do with LSBuilds.

Start up your file manager (probably explorer.exe) from the task manager, and then navigate to your desktop folder. Click on the shortcut that says "Set explorer as shell". Reboot.

If you want to use LS, read a little bit first. The answers to questions like yours are posted in places like the FAQ.

why on earth would you waste away your crapintosh by installing windows on it?

I'm not wasting my macintosh but there are no other HD player tht works with mac appart from ipod and I hate ipod. That is the reason why I change the shell of windows because it looks ugly and in some case runs faster cause it's less fancy!

Use an ipod, iriver, cowon, or archos HD or flash player. Put rockbox on it. Use it with any PC (windows, max, linux). Rockbox is the LiteStep of firmware. =)

So you bought a mac to install windows because you didn't want to use Apple hardware or software... I'm going to let West handle that one.
