I haven't been able to find this elsewhere on the forum, but as soon as i installed LS i now have to wait several seconds before I can access the "My Computer" popup or if i open filemanager it will freeze for several seconds before I can actually browse the drives. It will work for a while then a ittle while later it will start fail again. This did not happen before I installed LS. Is this a typical issue?

*Edit: Just thought i'd add my drives are set for always-on, so they don't power down. Also the problem does not occur in the explorer shell.

Do you have a CD in a drive, or storage-type usb devices (key/ext hd)?

Did you update to the final LS build?

I took my Cd's out of the drives and i used the latest Omar LiteStep installer. Is that the latest LiteStep build?

The only time LS is slow for me when checking My Computer is when it has just started up or been recycled. Let me check...

...no, when LS is running and I plug my USB drive in, it shows up almost immediately in my My Computer popup.

Thanks, I upgraded and still have the problem. I'm going to double check to make sure it isn't my hardware, as my DVD just started acting up.
