Hello, I have a few questions on how to refine my litestep shell, and I figured it would make sense to put them in one thread...
Regarding Popup2:
Popup has a bang !PopupTasks... I would like to create a popup which opens dynamically directly into this 'folder', rather than only being able to add this link into an already existing link. Is this possible?
I would also like if when a popup is opened, the mouse wheel can be used to scroll through and select the right option from the popup in much the same way as the cursor keys and enter would...
Is there a way to give different popup menus different graphical qualities? (eg font sizes, images used etc).
(don't hold much hope for this one): a decent way to create different popups simultaneously, all closing when one thing is selected. For example two popups adjacent to each other, expanding in opposite directions to each other...
Gandharva:
When using a command to maximise and minimise winamp from a shortcut button, it seems to work perfectly for the playlist editor, however it loses (or doesn't remove) the main window, leaving you to have to right click in winamp and check it off/on to refind it etc. Is there a more robust system of doing this?
General:
I would like to know a way of preventing any windows from being drawn over the task bar I am using, and also not interfere with other applications. It would be enough for explorer windows to always be behind, as my main problem is shuffling around explorer windows which then obscure the taskbar - would this need to be done for each component? ie systray2kad, taskbar3, shortcut2, rainmeter, lsxcommand and gandharva
I have found a problem with my system tray, that if it is for some reason hung waiting for a response from the application serving it, it causes my ENTIRE shell to hang, which obviously can be a little irritating. Also, if I open a right-click context menu from on of the entries, there is no way to get rid of it without selecting one of the options on it...
Also, I was wondering if it was possible (long shot) to retrieve, and even SET the mouses cursor position from a bang, (for more complex positioning of popups etc., I would like to be able to, for example create a menu with the center point of the menu where the cursor is rather than a top corner,
I'm so close to having this shell perfect for my needs, I would much appreciate a little final advice to 'perfect' it. Thanks for reading...
