Sound issues. Thread last updated on 2006-08-16 14:43:00

Whenever I run LiteStep, windows fails to recognize my speakers. I'm on a laptop and I'm talking about my default speakers... so it's gotta be litestep. When i go to sound, etc. under the Control Panel, it says "No Audio Device" whereas on explorer it has Realtek Audio. I can get sound from firefox, but anything that runs a sound check (Napster, most games) won't run, and anything that does run (Counter-Strike) won't play sound. Can anyone help me out? thanks. :)

sounds like some magical application/driver isn't being loaded as part of your startup. gotta find that entry and put it somewhere so it will run.
