Anything like this for litestep?
I think we should start getting in the new age and start competing with Vista's shell with a module like this:
http://www.visualtasktips.com/
AFAIK there is nothing like that for LS, the closest you would get is the snapshot mode of rabidvwm, and that is not really the same thing. But then again... that is hardly an innovative nor an extremely useful feature in my opinion, and if this is what "getting in the new age" is about I hope LS won't be getting there anytime soon. As for "competing with Vista's shell"... I didn't know there was any competition; LS is and will always be more powerful than explorer, end of story.
they have that in Opera now too. Its not that handy... I mean... its not like you can actually see whats in the window... to tell you if you should actually check that page or not.
That said, if it were in xTaskbar, I'd probably use it ;D
yeah i dont find it usefull at all either ... in the time it takes to mouseover, wait, and try to make out whats actually showing i could always just open the page and look at the original ...
The only feature i'd like to have is compiz's expose .. hope after they make vista work alot faster, they'll add something like that ;)
after they make vista work alot faster
...you mean after we've all spent lots of $$$ on new computers? :)
