..I'm finding it difficult to configure a certain module, I'm sure im doing something awfully wrong. Anyway, here's the deal:

I'm using Obisidan theme, as its the one I found most pleasing for my eye. I customized it to some extend, and finally realized it's missing Systray completely. Okay, I've installed and loaded up grdTray module but I can't get LiteStep to read it's .rc file upon theme load (the module itself loads up fine.

My step.rc looks like this:

LoadModule C:\LiteStep\modules\grdTray3.dll
include C:\LiteStep\modules\grdTray.rc

//

Now, someone smart might tell me that I've shot up the .rc file in a wrong place or something.. anyway, whats the deal - what should I do. And sorry if theres an easy tutorial somewhere, it's kinda late and I'm half-blind ;)

ermmm....Obsidian has a system tray module configured by default, and running two could be bad. Read the theme's Readme file for how to use it.

Hmmph, will check again - tho I could be running some old version. Rechecking everything then sigh.

All versions have a tray.

Windows is pretty useless without.

Is the tray missing because of something you've customized, or was it missing in the original theme you downloaded? If the latter, you may have been bitten by the "Stardock tray application" problem. Just a guess, based on what you've said so far. Have you used stuff from stardock before?

nah...its hidden by default. tiz ugly to see all the time and if you don't use it all the time what is the point of showing it all the time?

I keep my tray visible all the time, but hide many of the icons, leaving only the useful ones that I wish to see. Same idea, different method. =)

If you like Obsidian there is a newer version on NBI-Studio.com

You have to read the readme file to use this theme!
