i just started litestep and for some reason, i can't download icondesk for my theme(non-step), so i've downloaded the module manually but don't know where to extract it to.

can someone help?

You don't extract it. You put the archive in the litestep\\modules\archive folder.

For some reason, LS is unable to download any modules. What could be the cause of this?

Firewalls, proxies, agressive puppys.

Firewall's configured to allow access, and I don't have proxies or puppies. Downloading of modules has worked fine in the past.

Disable your firewall and test again...

Yeah, that worked. Frickin' Zone Alarm...

However, now LiteStep's telling me that xPaintClass-1.0 isn't installed when it is.
