Hi,

Im using the latest nonstep theme but for some reason im unable to remove the 'my computer' ' my documents' 'my network places' 'recycle bin' icons from the desktop. I want to keep some icons but i dont want to keep the my computer icons etc.

They arent in the folder C:\Documents and Settings\Daniel\Desktop.

Any ideas please?

First off, there's an option to remove the system icons in the shift + left-click menu. Second, after doing that, you can either dump your shortcuts in to your Desktop folder or just modify line 228 in the theme.rc file to the path where your shortcuts are located.

Don't be scared to open an rc file and skim through it. Most settings are pretty obvious.

It says access denied when i try to open the theme.rc file.

Is there any other way?

I have dumped the shortcuts i want in my desktop folder, but there is still my computer my documents etc on the desktop when they arent in the desktop folders.
