i just got litestep(yesterday) and so far have gotten everything working correctly. the only problem ive had is that when using certain themes(non-step II), i cannot correctly download icondesk-0.68, i get an error saying "module was downloaded, but zip was invalid". i also have the same problem with xdesktop.

how can i fix the problem or manually install these modules?(i have no idea what im doing, im a noob)

Try manually unzipping the files and renaming the .dll to icondesk-0.68.dll and xdesktop-xxx.dll, where xxx is the version number

DO NOT DO THAT! There is more to a module that just that. Once you download the module zip that is valid put it in your Module Archive folder. Next time you start the theme LS will think that it downloaded it already and put all of the files in the zip where they belong.

You may also want to check/update your list of netloadmodule sites. I think loose-screws.com was the one that often produced that invalid zip file error. Currently I only have these two sites listed, but I think there's a new one. Perhaps someone will post it here.

*NetLoadModuleSite "http://www.loose-screws.com/download.php?netloadmodule=" ".zip"
*NetLoadModuleSite "http://www.ls-universe.info/download/modules/"

Might want to make sure you're using the latest version of NLM while you're at it. It won't fix your problem, but it would make the error more accurate. :D
