Hi all,

i've got my xpopup module working well but there is just one thing i can't figure out and the readme for it isn't helping.

in popup2 you could define the title of your default popup in the popup.rc file

e.g. HotListName "Black Gold"

and it would mean that when you right-clicked on the desktop and the popup appeared it would have that as the title of the popup.

Using that code doesn't work in the xpopup version i am using (1.3.1) and i can't find anywhere in the readme where it gives you the code to use in popup.rc to achieve this.

Can anyone offer me a solution to this or tell me if i am doing something wrong?

All of my other titles work fine.

Cheers

I don't believe that option exists in xpopup.

Try modifyng the default popup in $PersonalDir$popup.rc

*Popup "$UserName$" !New !Popup

ah,

ok. I thought that it would have that option since popup did.
xcal: I am making a theme and i was wanting there to be a title with the name of the theme in the default popup. You could do that with popup2 but obviously not xpopup. it just looks a bit odd with a blank title.

tnl: I can modify my own popup in my personal folder but that won't be any good for other people who download it.

Thanks for your help guys. I thought i was just missing the place in the readme where it gives that information but obviously not.

maybe i could suggest that for the next xpopup release.

Cheers
