I thought i would try this since people say good things about it, but... When i start the exe, there is a very empty list of skins to use, i DL'ed the skins that come with it, extracted them to the shellwm dir, but still nothing for me to select.

Am i retard or something, cuz i cant laod one skin in this thing, or even see any in the list box of the shellwm app

Yeah, the documentation leaves a bit to be desired here. See <a href="http://shellwm.sourceforge.net/forum.php?view.2.131">allelimo's post here</a>, and if that's not detailed enough, try to guess where the backslashes go in <a href="http://shellwm.sourceforge.net/forum.php?view.2.30">my post here</a>.

Basically, you need to create a Skins folder inside the shellwm dir, and put the skins in there.
