Memory usage with Glaze theme Thread last updated on 2006-06-04 22:16:01

I have noticed that when i use the Glaze theme the memory usage is about 900mb.

I had the same problem with the Obsidian theme and found that it was because of the lssliderfoo module.

Has anyone else noticed this problem with the Glaze theme and if so do you know what module caused the problem?

I'd rather not have to go through all of the modules turning them on and off in the theme.rc file like i did last time but i will if i have to.

these are the loaded modules. maybe someone knows of a problem with them that might cause this?

I have not noticed that, as I used the glaze theme quite a bit. I'm back to explorer right now though. The theme I was using looked too much like explorer for me to bother using litestep :P

I figured out that it was the lsslider module.

Thats twice that this type of module has caused me problems with memory. lsslider and lssliderfoo both have errors in their coding somehow.

anyway, i removed lsslider from starting up when the skin loads and i just changed the slider for the volume in winamp to up and down buttons and everything is fine now.

LSSlider is an old old module. Most commonly the error is caused by the application that it is set to control the volume of being closed. But you would know that already as it is part of a sticky thread that I am sure you read.
